rar0331@yahoo.com	Posted - September 17 2014 : 15:42:11 Has anyone had any experience with using Reflect to back up external drives formatted as exfat ? I am using a Mac in a dual boot configuration. I would like to have the external drives formatted to transfer files larger than 4GB. Windows and OSX can only transfer files between a FAT or exFAT formatted drive. It appears that the drive shows up just fine, but it always looks like it is full to v5 of Reflect. This may not be an issue since all I really want to do is create images for backup purposes.

Seekforever	Posted - September 17 2014 : 15:57:08 Can't help you with exFAT partition questions but is your concern about creating an image that is over 4GB and FAT32 needs to split the file? If so, as far as Reflect goes, it is not an issue at all and the program knows there are slices and will correctly assemble them. I admit that having a long list of 4GB files is not great though but you could setup a folder scheme but it is more work. If exFAT is not an option for use with Reflect and you want to store non-Reflect files greater than 4GB, you could partition the drive to have a FAT32 for images and an exFAT for other files. Hopefully you will get a better answer that offers more convenience.
