Hi,
I'm trying to test my rescue disk, and to me, it looks like it's not working. I've altered the boot menu to move CD drive to the top, and HDD to number 2.

The trouble is, that I don't really know what to expect on the screen. I boot the system with the CD in the drive, and right after the normal splash screen, I receive a message "Press any key to boot from CD" which I do. Then the computer looks as if it is booting as normal. All my programs and desk top are there and everything looks fine.

I guess my question is, has the system booted from the CD or not.

Thanks for any help and guidance.
