The stand-alone DOS prompt verify.exe needs an error message if it cannot find the image file that is specified for verification. Currently it just runs, does nothing, and gives no indication of a problem. It would be nice to generate a message such as "File image ("path\name") does not exist" or something along those lines so we know what happened.

Thanks,

JohnD

Hi JohnD,

Thank you for your input. We have updated the utility, and uploaded it to the website. You can grab the latest version at the same URL:

Thanks Randal,

Very nice. It gives a lot more info now. I am currently still on v5 and I noticed this program is v6. Is there any problem running this in a v5 installation? I will probably be upgrading to v6 this summer.

JohnD
