I have a license for Version 5 and just got a new laptop that came with Win 8.1. I upgraded to Win 10. I have some backup files I would like to recover to my new laptop. No matter what version of Macrium I try, it will not let me install. When I try to install, an opening screen flashes and closes. I have tried to run and run as admin.
I have tried Macrium ver 5, 6, and the free version. They all do the same thing.

Try doing a Windows "clean boot" which gets rid of a lot of things that might be interfering with the installation program.

Do a clean boot and try the install again.
