I would like to request that operations like Restore image and Verify be allowed to select subfolders on a CD/DVD disc. The way it stands now, the Explorer interface only allows the selection of an image file in the root directory of a disc. What I did was burn a few images to a DVD-9 and created a heirarchy of folders to store them, thinking I could access them by navigating the folders. I was surprised to discover that only the root directory of a disc can be accessed.

Odd. Now it works! :) Can't explain it. When I tried Verifying a series of images in subfolders on a DVD-9, Macrium wouldn't expand the directory view of the optical drive the disc was inserted into. I figured that just meant it only looked in the root directory of optical discs for images. Now, it works; as I said, go figure.

Oh, I think I figured it out. I must have been using the Recent locations icon for the root directory of my optical drive. When I select that, it won't open subfolders because it's a default location to the root directory of the disc, because it was used before in a backup, restore, or verify. When I expanded the Computer icon and then expanded the optical drive in question, it lists the directories and lets me choose a file to perform an action on.

Sorry about that.
