Normally under Windows I launch from a desktop shortcut the Portable Utility WinSnap.

I want tools for documenting any problems I encounter whilst running under either the Windows PE Rescue environment or the P.E. Rescue Boot CD.

I now have a portable alternative to Notepad unzipped and in use on E:\ which holds my Macrium image files.
The Recovery Boot CD uses a different drive letter for that partition,
but this Notepad has no problem whatever drive letter is used.

I would like to also have a screenshot tool that can be added to E:\ and used under WinPE regardless of the different drive letter it may find itself in.

I would appreciate suggestions of freeware that may be suitable for this purpose.

N.B. Perhaps I need a Bart PE disc to include both Macrium Rescue PE and with a screenshot tool,
but I never had any success creating any sort of Bart PE when I used XP,
and I fear that any sort of special Boot CD will waste a weekend turning fresh new CDs into CD Coasters.

Regards
Alan
