Posted - July 02 2014 : 20:08:21 I'm using Professional version 5.2 to backup my XP computer. I'm thinking of doing a clean install of windows 7. Is there a way to use my current backup to restore my files to a new operating system? Thanks!

Posted - July 03 2014 : 15:08:51 Thank you for responding to my post. Since my computer is working well, I will put off upgrading to windows 7 for the time being. I appreciate the information and know what to expect should I decide to make the switch.

The following article discusses your options in more detail. I hope it helps answer your query.
