I have made images of he three partitions on my hard drive and stored them on a net work drive. I ram verify on these files a couple of times each with positive results. I can boot the Rescue disk - mount the network drive, browse the images and find that every thing is indeed saved in these images. HOWEVER,using the Restore Wizard on the Rescue disk causes a failure -- here is what happens every thing works as advertised until the final step - when I click RESTORE - the program instantly crashes - with no errors displayed what so ever -- i am left with the PE Wallpaper being displayed and thats all!! Only way to restart my PC is to shut it down using the physical Power ON/OFF switch. This problem repeats itself 100% of the time. I have an HP Pavillion s7320n PC running an Genuine Intel Celeron M 1.60 GHz, Bios is AMI 3.06, 1 giagbyte of Ram, hard drive is a 30 GB SATA dive, the display adapter is and Intel Express Chipset Family. This "Rescue" is useless unless there ia a way to prevent the Rescue restore program from crashing. Currently I am using the Linux partitoin on my Hard drive so I have no way to fix the Windows PE version of Rescue. The Linux Rescue disk does not see the network for some reason, I have been unable to determine. Please advise, soonest.

Hurray for Linux

Hi

Could you please download a later version of the Linux Rescue CD here:
http://updates.macrium.com/reflect/Rescue-2.0.163.iso

This version should see your network OK. You need to click the 'Map Share' button and enter your server and share name first.

Could you please give me further details of the partitions in the image that is crashing? Your PC specification is fine for Windows PE so I'm not sure what the problem is.

Kind Regards
