Hi,

Using the updated version since today, my system hangs on the start of the snapshot.
What can I do?
Running win 8.1 64bit

Thanks, Holger

Hi Holger.
Sorry to hear you're having problems.

Could you confirm whether the hang is a temporary hang whilst the backup starts and then the backup runs or whether the hang results in Reflect becoming completely unresponsive?

It is possible that the application is just taking some time to initialise the backup, please try waiting and also check in Windows Task Manager whether Reflect is still using CPU time.

Kind Regards,
Scott - Macrium Support

Hi Scott,

It really hangs during "snapshot". No more reaction, no disk activity, and no way to start anything nor reboot the system. Windows do rescale etc with no issue.

I am now uninstalling to see if it is really reflect.

Do you have any antivirus type programs running? Temporarily disable them and try to uninstall Reflect again then reinstall it before re-enabling any antivirus type programs.

Are you able to post the logged results of your backup effort? This would be under the log tab in Reflect.
