Std. Edition V5.3.

I went to do a backup job today and noticed the message to upgrade to V6. I think I followed the prompts and noticed a message saying “an email has been dispatched to my email…” and although my email address shown was correct I never got this email

Perhaps I’m not eligible for the upgrade?

I did not receive any notification about the release of V6. I only knew because of some posts on this forum. Not sure if that was by design or if there was an issue with the mailing sent.

@Drac144, @Seekforever

Have you both actually requested a Free upgrade from v6 for v5 purchases after 1st November 12014?

Kind regards

Nick - Macrium Support

I think perhaps an "oops, sorry" is in order; the answer is no.

I thought we were talking about a general notification email to all registered users of V5.

Thank you Nick, I was expecting to have an email notification that my post had an answer but never got one and today decided to check and saw the replies. Makes me wonder if my email works but I do receive emails and as far as I know my email works fine.

I clicked on the link and filled the requested info

Nick, I don't understand your question. No, I did not request a free upgrade, but I don't see anything in Oskar's email saying that he did.
