Just upgraded my v5 Standard Household (4-pack) to version 6.0.499 Home (also 4-pack) and had no problems whatsoever. The v6 software is now running on W7-64, W7-32 and XP Pro (legacy) systems.

Moreover, I made WinPE (ISO to burner) rescue boot disks for all without any issues. All start/operate okay, but, so far, no re-imaging has been tried.

Note: contrary to v5, v6 has no Linux ISO image in the program install folder. In my case I would have liked the Linux ISO at least for my legacy system, as, with WinPE, boot-up takes about 7 minutes.

FYI and FWIW...

This should be on the V6 forum and there is a thread on this Linux iso topic in the Rescue CD section and a poll in the Features section.

You have to register to use the new forum even though you are registered on this one.

No, this should be here, for the v5 users to see. In the v6 forum the v5 users have already upgraded and may not need to know that I upgraded w/o issues.

As for the Linux ISO, well, same answer, as some may find it useful to know this before they upgrade. And, by the way, I started the Linux ISO topic in v6. It's not a big deal for me .. but, the Linux ISO would have come in handy (and give me a rescue disk-type choice).

Before I upgraded I read the V6 forum, not the V5 forum. Anybody can read the V6 forum and that's where I would expect to see V6 issues.

The purpose of starting this topic here was/is to tell the v5 users that I'm very pleased indeed with my v6 upgrade. Full stop. The Linux ISO matter was/is a heads up for whoever may be interested. Full stop. I suggest we leave it at that...
