Hello,

I have 2 scheduled VBS tasks on my Server SBS 2008 with 2 disks.(one task for every disk)
The first one runs okay but the other doesn't run at the specified time.
It only runs when i start it manually.

What do i have do?

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us.

Are you using the same user credentials for the second task ? What error code is present in the Last Result column for the schedule ?

Kind regards.

Chris.

Hi,

Error code 0x02 from scheduled backups is actually a Reflect error code meaning the XML definition file is invalid.

Is it possible to recreate the XML definition file being run in the scheduled task ?

Kind regards.

Chris.

The xml code is valid and its not possible to run it as a scheduled task.

In windows task manager i scheduled a task (using the vbs task i earlier made) and it works fine.

Why doesn't it work in macrium??

Hi

Error 0x02 means that the xml file cannot be read or is invalid. This may be a permissions issue with the scheduled task user.

Can you click on the 'Scheduled Backups' tab and look at the 'User Account' column for your scheduled backups. Check that the 'domain\user' has read permissions for the xml file folder. A common mistake is to schedule the backups to run for a different domain as the local user and the domain account doesn't have read/write access, but the local user, with the same name, does (or vice versa).

To modify the scheduled tasks user account, take the 'Other Tasks' > 'Defaults' > 'Scheduled Task' > 'User Name' option, then edit or re-create your scheduled tasks.

Kind Regards
