Hi

Updates to version 4.2 of Macrium Reflect will in future only be for bugs, there will be no more new features as these will only be included in version 5 of Macrium Reflect.

If you read the detail in any new update patch and it if does not say there is a change to Windows PE then there is no need to burn another Windows PE rescue CD or USB equivalent.

If you stay with Macrium Reflect 4.2 you will stay with Windows PE 2. If you upgrade and purchase version 5 of Macrium Reflect you will be eligible to create a Windows PE 3.1 rescue CD/USB stick. Windows PE 2 has a Vista kernel and Windows PE 3.1 has a Windows 7 kernel, Windows PE 3 has built in a greater compatibility to different hardware than Windows PE 2.

Hope this helps

Regards

et
