The Macrium Reflect Recovery option is a on the Windows Boot Manager boot menu. However, the pre-Macrium-Reflect-boot-menu that I had also runs when the Windows Boot Manager times out. Why are there now TWO boot loader menus? How do I get rid of the second one? How can I consolidate an item from the old menu into the new menu?

Thanks.

Hi

Thanks for your post. Take the 'Other Tasks' > 'Add Recovery Boot Menu' option, remove the option then take the menu option to add it back again.

Kind Regards

I had to repair my Win7 OS, and then had to reinstall Reflect (registered version 4.2.3093).

I tried to add the Recovery Boot option back in, but the advice above doesn't work -- first I have to get past the download PE prompt but I can't -- I already downloaded it previously. All I can do is cancel out of the 'add recovery boot option' dialog from reflect.

As I did save my previously downloaded PE installer, I ran it. It reports PE is now successfully installed, and I do see a C:\boot directory.

But still no Recovery Boot option when I reboot the machine. How do I get the Reflect Recovery Boot menu back?

Kind regards,

Hi

Now that PE is installed, take the 'Other Tasks' > 'Add Recovery Boot Menu' option.

Kind regards

Thanks Nick, but that IS the option I'm talking about, that I can't get past, the 'Other Tasks -> Add Recovery Boot Option' first asks me to download PE and since I can't download, I can only cancel it. How do I get past that prompt?
