Hi I have set up a daily incremental image backup with a full image running on a Thursday and the other days being incremental. As well as this the backups are removed when older than 13 days.
These ran perfectly OK (for 6 months!)until a few days ago (6th October) but haven't worked since. It is possible that something happened on the machine (at night) when the backup was running on the 7th October and that this has caused the system to get out of step so that none now run.
If I try a "Run Now" function on the scheduled backup nothing happens. If I edit a scheduled backup and change nothing stepping through and finishing I get a message "Keyset does not exist"
I just tried to run a full backup by executing the original XML Definition file and it starts OK but failed half way through with a "...report to Microsoft?" type crash.

You have a problem with your Windows scheduler. Googling "XP Scheduler Keyset does not exist" throws up this link:
