I started my PC today shortly after missing a scheduled File Backup. On previous occasions when this has happened, the Backup has started with no problems. Today, however, I received the error message 'Failed to create empty document' and the Backup failed to start. I started Reflect and then manually carried out the missed backup. Any suggestions as to why this happened?

Hi John

This message is caused by Reflect failing to load correctly most probably due to insufficient resources. Was a virus scan runing at the same time?

Nick,

Your reply makes sense and no doubt explains what was happening. Yes, Kaspersky scans all start-up objects when the PC first boots up. I am running Kaspersky.
