I was wondering if there is any news on the upcoming version (Beta)? About half a year ago there was mention of a beta coming soon...
Thanks! |

Hi JeeHaa
Further information on version 5 will be published on our web site when it's available.
I'll let you know when a public beta is available. Thanks for your patience.
Kind Regards

Hello. I understand that you can't provide an exact release date for Macrium Reflect 5 (or a beta version of it), but I would like to know if you or anybody from the staff can do a rough estimation. I have been using the free version for some times, and the full version for some months after it was distributed on Giveawayoftheday.com (until I formatted the PC). I am now considering to buy it, but since the current version is a bit old I would not like to buy it and see a newer version come out next month.
If you can't provide any estimation, can you tell me at least if there will be a free or sensibly discounted upgrade program for customers of the 4.2 version X?
Thanks! |

I read where if you bought Version 4 within 3 months, the upgrade to version 5 would be free. Longer than that, the upgrade would be somewhere around 50% off. This is going from memory--YMMV. Also, ultimately it's Nick's decision... |

v5 will be available later this year. The upgrade will be free to those who have purchased v4.2 within 3 months of release, others will qualify for a discount of around 50%.
Please only purchase Reflect if it meets your requirements and you are satisfied with the software.
Kind Regards

Be sure, it does meet my requirements! Reflect has less features than other products like Acronis TrueImage, but the big difference is that IT WORKS! Since I started using it (GOTD first, free version then) I have forgotten the countless corrupted archives I had with TrueImage. And it's also cheap! What else?
Thank you for "opening a peep hole" on the next version. |

Well, don't make Nick regret giving us this "rough estimation", you know that estimations can be very rough in IT...
It will be a success if we just see it before next summer with a beta next winter... |
