I have being monitoring the saga of version 5 and decided that this is probably vapourware - Is a shame as macrium was a good product but now is way out of date compared with the competition. If Macrium cannot get their act together and spell out a timetable then i'm sure that lots of people will migrate to other products and that would be a shame |

Agreed with wabsys. Reflect is a rock solid product, and a new version of it would be great, but everyhing looks silent... What a pity... However it's not yet too late. |

If Nick told you anything about v5, he would have to kill you.
Then 'they' would have to kill him <g>!
Just rejoice that we have a fine product in v4.2 and it will only get better.
Regards
Guy

I have a much better method, I'll send my wife over and after about 15 minutes of listening to her rabbiting on and on he'll give in. Guaranteed

Hey,
Thanks for posting. We are currently working very hard on version 5, I don't have a release date for you, but I can say that version 5 will definitely be using version 3.0 of WindowsPE.
Kind Regards,

Hi,
Whilst I appreciate that you do not have a release date, this 'next version' seems to have been mentioned for a considerable time here. So many requested features are seemingly due in v5.
Some rough ETA would be handy...this year? Next year?
Even an estimate (%) of progress to completion would be a useful crumb; pretty please .
Regards
Guy

Completely agree. I'm not sure there's an appreciation of just how much frustration to Reflect users is caused by the persistent and deliberate vagueness around this release.
Even a negative (e.g. not before Christmas 2011) would be far more useful than no news at all.
May I ask a different question? Can you confirm that if I buy another V4 license now, I will need to purchase a separate license when V5 arrives?
Thanks |

Hi,
We very much appreciate the concern amongst our loyal users regarding lack of news of late. I can promise you, however, that we have been hard at work.
We are currently putting together a news post regarding timescales and some new features to look forward to for v5. We might even include some sneak preview screen shots.
I hope this will answer all your concerns.
Kind Regards John - Macrium Support |
