It is the long wait as well that is not so much worrying as puzzling.

Hi,
We can confirm that we are in the testing phase with all major features implemented.
We appreciate that our software is a key element in the security of your data. Therefore, we take great care in the quality assurance phase - and will delay the release until we are completely confident that it meets our standards.
With this in mind, I hope you can understand why we are reluctant to publish a release date.
Kind Regards John - Macrium Support |

And yet we wait. Other companies have epic release cycles too, but also a plan with a release date. If there was a date after which purchased licenses would be eligible free updates the customers would be informed of that too. At least this holds true in the code mine I'm stuck in. (Any mention of Duke Nukem Forever is purely coincidental =) |

So true, it does seem a very long time from version 4's release, and no firm timescale of beta testing/rc testing. We live in hope that maybe this year version 5 may start to appear

Maybe someone from the support department can give us an update as to what progress, if any, is being made with version 5. |

Patience wears thin after 3 years with no news except empty promises. While the existing product is still valuable it is getting long in the tooth and has issues because of it's age. |

Yes, I want version 5, and will upgrade my licenses when it arrives:)
However, I want it to be as reliable as version 4:)
Would you like to have something like the original Vista RTM:(
Me either:(
Not again:) |
