I had a raid 10 disk, changed to a single SSD for boot and the others as a non raid. To do this I imaged the disks, deleted the array (Intel Dx58SO MB), changed the bios to SATA AHCI, added the AHCI driver using redeploy during boot. The system comes up ok but I get a yellow flag warning in device manager for all 8 cores, and the RAID controller is still listed. Now I also have one unknown device. Re-installing isn't an option.

The system seems to be running ok, but I won't know until something crashes. I have all the latest chipset, network, audio and bios updates from intel. I think that Redeploy changed something in the basic drivers and I am now using a generic driver for the core (that is a guess). Also I should say that I ran the RedeployCD utility and rebuilt the WinPE disk before doing all the above. Then when asked if I wanted to load the SATA AHCI disk driver I said yes. Without that driver the system traps with the BSOD and a driver error of 0x00007b just as Intel says it would. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks inadvance.

Hi

Thanks for your post. Sorry you are having problems.

In device manager can you right click on the items with the yellow warning flag, select 'Uninstall' then click 'Scan for changed hardware' or reboot.

Hope this helps
