I recently updated my trial version of reflect to the latest version. My version appears to be 4.1 build 1888. I am now observing the error "Failed to create volume snapshot": Result code: 0x00000000. Using pssnap.sys instead. I also noted that when I try to create the immage of C and D on Disc 1, that reflect locks up after creating the C partition image, and the program must be terminted externally. If I image each partition by itself, the image is created successfully, but the above error is still stated. I am using Vista Home Premium. I ran the verification feature and the image seems to be valid. Does this error indicate a need to re-install Macrium Reflect? Vista user 999
I subsequenly discovered that vss (volume shadow services) can be set to manual or automatic in Computer Management, and this results in proper operation of the volume shadow services, on my system. Visa user999 1-1-2007
