Hello,
tried full backup 6 times, each time successful.
tried to verify 6 times, each failed.
tried various ways, disable a/v, verify from `other tasks` no joy.
Does it mean that if I have to use the latest backup it wont be any good?
Do I need to create a new rescue disk to keep up to date?

Thanks for your post.
As you have posted in the file backup forum I assume this is not a question about disk imaging. The rescue CD isn't relevant for file backups.
Verification failures are always attributable to instability in your system. Please see here for more information:

obviously used the wrong forum, should have been `full disk backup,

Hi,
Thanks for getting back to us.
Unfortunately, the response would remain the same. Verification failures, either in images or file and folder backups, point to potentially failing hardware.
We suggest running component stress tests on your hardware to identify potential issues, especially the RAM, motherboard and CPU.
Another additional test is to isolate a multi gigabyte file (similar in size to a resulting image file) run the ExactFile utility to generate an MD5 hash, copy the file to the same target disk where images or backups will be created and run ExactFile on that resulting, copied file to get another MD5 hash which can be compared with the original. If these MD5 hash values do not match then this is an indication of failing hardware.
