Hi

In the following tutorial there is an example of Server settings for gmail. Apart from your gmail e-mail address are the other settings as per the example if not have you tried them? Also do you receive a 'Test' message OK.

Hope this helps

Hi

Please see the following kb article for sending email messages with v4 of Macrium Reflect:

http://kb.macrium.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50055.aspx

v5 has a built-in email component. Please see here for your upgrade options:

Kind Regards

Nick, Thanks for responding. Sorry it took me so long to respond back. I did in fact upgrade to Version 5 and have been reading about that version. Some questions:
Here is my stragegy: Run a FULL backup on Sunday and INCRMENTALS Mon thru Sat. Keep 6 copies of the FULL(6 weeks)+the incrementals each week.

It seems like there are multiple avenues to get things defined in ver 5

In version 4.2 I did the following:
Created a .XML then Generate a .VBS and then Schedule the .JOB run. The email function was inbedded withing the .VBS

Now that the Email function is outside the .VBS via the "OTHER TASKS" , "EDIT DEFAULTS" do I redo of the sequence for my stragey since all the 4.2 definitions are still there?
That would be create .XML, Generate .VBS , Schedule .job then do the EMAIL. As I said there seems like multiple avenues, but this looks like the cleanest road.
