I had the paid version of macrium reflect v4.2. I use filehippo for upgrades etc.they advised me that there was an upgrade for my version, so I `clicked`, as the upgrade was downloading I noticed that it was the free version so `clicked` cancel, but it continued to download, now I have the free version only. How can I rectify this please.

Hi
Thanks for getting back.
Uninstall the Free Edition of Macrium Reflect using the Windows control panel, then install with the downloaded full installer.
Kind regards

Hello Nick, thanks for that, up and running. If the image cant be verified (reason never given)can it still be used as a backup? Should a newer backup disc be made, last one was a year ago. regards mike lovell |

Hi Mike
Thanks for getting back.
If an image file fails verification then it is corrupt. You may still be able to mount the image and copy files and folders using Windows Explorer.
Please see this knowledge base article that explains how verification works: http://kb.macrium.com/KnowledgebaseArticle50048.aspx

Yes, you should create a new rescue CD with the latest version.
Kind regards
